New Pictures!

I took some pictures of RUBY tonight!  I tried to take some pictures of Onyx, but whenever I would like put my hand over his head to keep him still until the last second that I took the picture, he would start licking my finger and would  follow my hand once I took it away, so all the pictures were SUPER blurry!!  I don't think I got ONE good one!  I will try again another time. :)

Ruby is SUCH a good poser!  She hardly EVER moved when I took these pictures!!  I took a lot more and they were all good, so it was hard to decide which ones to post!!

I am super excited!!  Next week (hopefully on Wednesday) I will be picking up Bella!  I am so excited to get her!  She sounds like a sweet little bun. :)

Ugh.....today I did a MAJOR cleaning day in the rabbitry.  I washed all the cages, trays, dishes and organized everything else!  It took me about 2 hours, but the rewarding part was standing back and admiring my work. ;)

Onyx!

Presenting........Emily's Hoppin' Hotot's Onyx!

 Onyx is such a little sweetie!  He is about 2 weeks younger than Ruby, so I will be able to use both of them for breeding around the same time.  He also has great type, so hopefully I will be able to show him when he gets a little older. 

When I first bought him (Wednesday, Feb. 15) he was pretty nervous and wasn't eating.  But bananas fixed that!  When a bunny doesn't want to eat you should give them a little piece of banana with their food and for some reason it makes them want to eat their food!  So he is doing a lot better now. 

Ruby is doing really good!  She is such a sweet heart!  Whenever I open up her cage door she comes and waits for me to pick her up!  I love her to pieces!

Well, in about a week I will be adding another addition to my herd.  Her name is Bella and she is about 2 yrs old.  My friend Emily (who I am getting her from) bred her to her buck on the 16th, so hopefully she is bred!  So I am excited to have some babies!  I thought that I would have to wait until Ruby was old enough to be bred, but I will be have little babies (hopefully:)) sooner than I expected which is really exciting!!!

I took some pictures of Ruby today.......but boy does she squirm!!  She must not have liked the sound of my camera or else she was not in the mood for taking pictures!!!  I eventually just took some pictures of her in her cage, but they are still really cute!!!  Sorry if they are a little blurry, but like I said...she wouldn't stay still!!!

Me and Ruby!!

Ruby has been the best little bun for me!!!  She is such a cutie!!  Whenever I come down to feed her or hold her she stands up in the corner of her cage that faces the door waiting for me.  It is so cute!!
Whenever I let her out she always goes to her food bag and tries to scratch it......she must know there is something in there that she really wants!!!

Me and my dad finally finished the tray for her cage!!  I was using cardboard, newspaper and some old baking trays that my Mom didn't want anymore, but it would still leak and I would have to change cardboard and newspaper like every other day.  So the new tray is so nice!!  Thanks Dad!!

Well, that is pretty much everything that is new around here!  Hopefully I will take some Valentines pictures soon and post them.  We'll see!!
