Show!

So, today I was able to go with my friend, Faith to a 4-H show near my home.  I took Bandit with me and entered him in the breed show and also did showmanship.  He got 2nd place at the breed show.  The judge said that it was very close and that he probably would have won if his coat would have been in nicer condition. :(  He is starting to molt and I also switched their feed, so that probably had something to do with it as well. :)  In showmanship, well...... in my opinion I FAILED!!  I had NEVER done anything like that before and was SUPER nervous and I just could not think of the answers to the questions she would ask me.  Of course, I would have been able to answer the question that she gave the person next to me... but, oh well.  I just know now that I will never, ever, ever do that again(unless I change my mind. :))

I also gave Ruby her nestbox today!  I am super excited to have babies around.  I am not very good(at all) at palpating, so I do not know for sure if Ruby is bred, but am pretty sure! :)  I guess I will know in a couple days. :)  I'll keep ya updated... hopefully with some pictures too!

I'm Back!

Hey Everyone!
So, I am finally back from my long trip(although it really didn't seem that long at all!)!!  I had such a wonderful time!  I have to say that my highlight was being able to go to the Indian Reservation in South Dakota.  We went there Easter Sunday and were able to do a lot of fun stuff with the kids there.  I am excited to be able to go back in June with some people from my church!

Ok, so bunnies.  Yesterday I bred Ruby to Bandit.  So, hopefully I will have some babies in May!   I have missed having babies around. :)  I haven't had any babies in like 6 months!!  That is way to long for me! :)  Really looking forward to this litter.

Much needed UPDATES!!

Hello everyone!!  That is... everyone who even looks at this blog anymore!!  I have had a VERY busy fall/winter so far, and it is just going to get crazier!!  In the next week or so my family and I are embarking out on a 6-8 week traveling adventure.  We are going to Florida first and then some other places down South.  We are all pretty excited and nervous. :)  If you would like to know more about our travels, check out our family blog: http://www.thisfamilyoften.blogspot.com/

Anyways, about BUNNIES!!  I am taking a brake from breeding for the rest of the winter, because I will not be here (duh). :)  In the spring I plan on starting breeding again.  So come April I should have some more interesting stuff to blog about. :)  I hope to get better at blogging.  I like blogging, I just can't always find the time and it isn't really worth blogging when there is nothing interesting to blog about. :)  Maybe some of you bloggers know what I mean. :)

Anyways, I have to go to bed now.  I just thought I would let all you know why I haven't been blogging lately.
